And I got it for just under half what new is. I found one with some slight cosmetic damage. But, not a “WAZA” grade (I’ve not heard the WAZA) but I couldn’t tell a difference other than that.Įarly, the morning I was going to pull the trigger on the MKII 100/212 before Jessie got to work in Georgia. I believe the Artist has a slightly upgraded (single) speaker. ![]() I can’t remember all the differences between the Artist & the MKII 100/212. But it will give it a much “fuller” sound. Having Two 12” speakers won’t make all that much louder in volume if at all, over a single. I couldn’t find anything worth the extra money to compensate for the Artist only having a single 12” speaker. I’d purchased my MKII 100/212 from my favorite (caring, hard-working) rep I’d found in Georgia, despite me living in Baton Rouge. I talked to every salesperson I could that was trained to sell all things Boss all supposedly awake during the training. Then making my already purchased Katana 100 watt 2 X 12” MKII the slave in my Boss katana stereo rig. I seriously considered purchasing an Artist MKII as my 2nd amp.
